Beauty

...with my hair. I loved the chunks of grey in my hair. And I loved the length. But I needed a change. Back in the 80s I wanted to do a bold colour (and not just a spray on fun colour). But I was afraid of bleach, how quickly my roots would show, and my […]

My hair has made some changes in the 5+ years I have been writing this blog. So for a bit of Throwback Thursday fun here is a hair collage.

A few weeks ago I posted a picture of my first top knot on twitter. I was hesitant at first, as I wondered if I was too old for this style. But I reminded myself that I think it is more important to dress for the occasion and not my age. And I decided this was something I could pull […]

I take great pride in my personal efforts to own my beauty. To accept and celebrate who I am today. Not who I was. Or who I might become. But me. Today. But I do NOT love  my body. I accept it. I appreciate it. I lean on it. I favor some bits more than others. […]

I recently made a couple of changes. One voluntarily, the other reluctantly. The first was bangs. The second was new glasses.... progressives at that. They both have taken some getting used to. But so far I am enjoying both immensely. More on both later. Happy August long weekend to all my friends with today off.

When my mother came to visit earlier this spring  we glammed it up for a Modern Glam Experience with Photobin Photography. Tobin and his wife Sarah gave us such a great experience. Hair, make up and some lovely memories on film. I appreciate and accept my beauty, with or without make-up, but there is something so […]
