What I Wore: Playing Catch Up
March was an extremely fast month this year for me. Busy at work + spring break, including a trip to Alberta and BOOM it is April. Of course April is my birthday month so that doesn't suck. But it does mean I am playing catch up on some outfit posts from March.
This outfit features two new items in closet. A great, but very short, leopard print dress from Banana Republic and new mary janes from ART. Both purchased earlier in March on sale at 50% off. I am particularly excited about these new shoes, as I have been a fan of ART' for many years. But this is my first pair. Love the red soles.
I wore this outfit to the March Digitally Yours blogging event, held at UBC Continuing Studies at Robson Square. The topic was photography and I had a lot of fun listening and learning from Tobin, of Tobin Photography. I won a Glam Session with Tobin, which I will be doing with my Mom this weekend. We will have our hair and make up done and then have our pictures taken. Should be a lot of fun. More on that in a future post.
This picture was taken by my friend Amanda Maxwell, who I featured last year in a Real Life Women post. It illustrates how short this skirt is... to others this might not appear THAT short. But for me, if there is a risk my spanx or slip might show when I sit down it is too short. I am considering adding a band of black along the bottom.
