This green tweet Talbots blazer was a recent consignment store steal. It was in the clearance section of the store and was the grand total of $12!! It is like-new condition. I suspect the original owner only wore it once or twice.  I might have the sleeves shortened, or switch around the button, but I figure at that price the small amount of tailoring needed was well worth it.

I mixed it up with a bit of purple for my first wearing of the blazer. I will admit I didn't include a full length picture because I didn't love the pants and shoes I selected to go with it. And next time I would tuck the tank tops in. But I still wanted to celebrate the blazer.

When I wore the blazer to work I had a few jokes about St. Patty's Day and realized it would make a perfect post for March 17th. I don't celebrate with much green beer or cheer these days - last year we had Mint Milkshakes in our house.  But I do enjoy throwing on a bit of green for the day.

  • Blazer: Talbots (bought on consignment at Turnaround)
  • Tank tops: Layered 2 tanks from The Loft
  • Pants: Banana Republic
  • Pins: Vintage (purple one from my Grandmother and the green from the vintage flea market)

How do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day? And do you agree that my new (to me) blazer was a steal?
