I don't know about you, but by this time in the winter I am getting tired of staring at the 4 walls in my house. I am starting to dream about a cleaner house, a redecorated house, fabulous and miraculous new cooking skills, OR just a few hours out of my house. The BC Home + Garden Show helps me with all those goals.

Last year I took my son with me to the show, which was great. We had a lot of fun in the kids area. But this year I would like to sit down and listen to more than 5 minutes of the great experts that they have on their stage. And there are a lot of trusted experts, including HGTV stars like Bryan & Sarah Baeumler and Mike Holmes Jr. & Sherry Holmes. Plus a lot of exhibitors which encompass community, shopping, gardening, design, renovation, home decor, lifestyle, food/drink, etc. And yes, that includes a mini Portabello West (see images below),  DIY Done Right and an Al Fresco Wine Lounge.

Last year I also really enjoyed being able to have a one-on-one conversations with some of the exhibitors. Many of them are local. Like the ladies from Nellies, a local environmentally friendly laundry soap. One tip - bring a comfortable shopping bag, because that tin of laundry soap was not the easiest to carry home afterwards.

I have two tickets to giveaway to attend the BC Home + Garden show. One lucky winner, and a friend will have an opportunity to get some expert advice and inspiration for their home and garden. Just comment below on what you most want to improve in your house or garden this year (me - it is organization).
