What I Wore – Pink Shirt Edition
Posted on March 03rd, 2013 in Style, What I Wore
Last week was Pink Shirt Day at most schools in the province of BC, to help bring attention to bullying. With a Kindergartener in the house, we had him all ready for the day (in a CKNW Orphan's Fund t-shirt, which helped fund Boys and Girls Club anti-bullying programs). Then he asked what I was going to wear for pink shirt day. Oh yeah, that example I am supposed to set for my son.
So here is my pink shirt day outfit. I had planned on wearing this spring polka dress over a solid dress. So I switched it up by wearing a (hot) pink cardigan on to and a matching skirt under. It was rather flirty as it peeked out from under the navy dress. And it got a few comments at the office.
- Dress - Vintage
- Cardigan - Tobias
- Skirt - Jacqueline Conoir
- Shoes - Camper

Wonderful way to wear your pinks! I wore a dress over a skirt recently too and really liked the look. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.

What a cute combo! Very flattering color and pattern mix, too. What a very good issue to make into an awareness project.
Brava, you!
