Do you do a regular closet clear out each spring?

Do you send a big bag of once loved goodies to the thrift and/or consignment stores? But you keep a number of nearly new items because, well they are nearly new.

You might have bought these awesome items online and then the size or style wasn't just right.  By keeping them you are perhaps trying to reduce your buyer's remorse by promising yourself you will wear them again someday... And frankly selling items individually online can be a bit of a pain.  And not everyone in Vancouver has room to host a garage sale - plus they rarely bring out the right fashion buyer.

A couple of other Vancouverites, Victoria and Dave, were having similar challenges so they started Re-Fashion Vancouver to provide a space and venue to help you sell these awesome items to people who want to buy them.

Gather together your new or nearly new clothes that you never wear and rent a space at ReFashion Vancouver (or share a space with a friend or two). This 2nd Annual Clothing Re-sale is happening April 20th at the Yaletown Roundhouse. Last year the event drew hundreds of fashion forward buyers.

Interested in Selling?

You will need to apply (before April 6th), and there is a $80 rental cost.If you are sharing it is an additional $10 per person. ReFashion does this application process to ensure they have a wide variety of clothes and sizes available.

There are some guidelines on what you can sell. Two important ones are: First you can only sell clothing and shoes at this time. This event is not a flea market or a swap meet. So secondly, your clothes need to be in excellent condition.

Interesting in Shopping?

Don't have enough items to sell, but interested in shopping? Then mark April 20th in your calendar and come out ready (with cash on hand) to find some great fashion deals. The cash in hand part is important as most sellers will be CASH ONLY.
