While I was in Anaheim this summer I thought I should visit the Kiyonna showroom and do some shopping. I figured it was unlikely I would get that close to it again. As my regular readers know I am a reluctant online shopper.  I like trying things on. I am also nervous about knowing my size online. With Kiyonna I know my size, as they have very consistent sizing. But it is always fun trying things on.

I had a fabulous time trying on all sorts of things that I have viewed online.  In the end I purchased the following 3 items.

This asymmetrical skirt has been a favourite this summer. I wear it about once a week. It is so comfortable and looks great. On this particular day I experiments with layering. While I generally like the idea of these layers, the picture shows me that my gray cardigan is looking pretty slouchy and might be ready for an upgrade.

Skirt: Kiyonna - Blouse: Plum - Cardigan: Old Navy

Kiyonna is known for their dresses. So I was very pleased to find this beauty in navy on sale. It hugs my curves and is very comfortable at the same time. Here I paired it with a fuscia cardigan and leopard print flats for the office. The picture doesn't show off my mother of pearl necklace or silver cuff.

Dress: Kiyonna - Cardgian: Gap - Shoes: Thrift

Finally, I picked up this fantastic teal lace pencil skirt. I paired it under a striped button shirt and cardigan.

Skirt: Kiyonna - Shirt: Addition Elle - Cardigan: Plum - Necklace: Stella and Dot - Sandals: Winners.

Why no smile? Well it is always a bit of fun when my son comes to "help" with our pictures. And all my smiling shots also featured him.

In the past I was part of the Kiyonna Blogger Brigade. You can see my profile here. This shopping trip was on my own dollar, and all opinions (as usual) are mine.
