With a very busy 5 year old in my house I tend to wear jeans a lot.  But there are no Mom jeans in my house.  And while jeans weren't on my "list" this fall, I still jumped at the chance to check out Addition Elle's fall jean collection when invited.  I found a great pair of purple/navy coloured skinny jeans that seemed a good fit with my colour palette, which includes a lot purple.

They fit nicely through the calf, thigh and bum -  but are a bit big in the waist (a common problem I have with jeans).  But nothing a belt can't fix.  They are very soft and have washed very nicely in cold.

Here I am also showing off my gray, which is slowly growing in. I had someone comment the other day that I was getting some gray.  I laughed and said I had been gray for years, I had just stopped dyeing it.

The jeans roll up nicely to wear with boots, the inside is a dark blue/black so that makes them a bit different than other boyfriend style.  And they happen to look fab with my Doc Martens.

I still feel a bit matchy/matchy (which takes me back to matching scrunchy socks and sweaters in the 80s) in this sweater and boots. But I guess old habits die hard.

  • Sweater - Eileen Fisher (had before I got the boots, which just happen to match perfectly)
  • Tank Top - The Loft
  • Jeans - c/o Addition Elle
  • Boots - Dr. Martens
  • Tie Necklace -  Valerie Gobert
  • Silver Cuff - Ann Taylor

Disclosure - The jeans are care of Addition Elle.  I had a fun fall shopping trip there and bought several staple items - 1 white/gray striped button shirt, red button shirt and a gray sweater.   I have a trip planned back later this month, with a friend, to check out their new boots.

I am once again linking up with  Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet Style.  Be sure to check out Patti's crisp white (man's) shirt.
