What I Wore – A Busy Wednesday
Last week was a busy one. Especially Wednesday where I attended both the opening of the New Toni Plus shop at The Bay Downtown and Leading Moms. I'll write more on each of those events shortly, but for now I thought I would share what I wore for my busy day.
As I was going to be in a Nicole Bridger fashion show, at Leading Moms, later in the day I felt that I needed to wear one of my Nicole Bridger dresses. This lovely grey silk Nicole Bridger dress had been underutilized this summer so I started there. I then added this fun tie necklace from Valerie Gobert (a great conversation starter). I thought the pops of colours in the necklace would complement another pop of colour in my Dr. Marten wedges (which have been better than a wing man in starting conversations with some pretty awesome people), a yellow cuff (local Vancouver artisan) and turquoise Stella and Dot ring. I topped it off with some grey tights (it was October after all) and my thrift store denim jacket.
Finally, I thought it was time for an update on the grey. YES, I am growing it out on purpose. I am loving how it is looking as it grows. Interesting if I part it in the middle I look like Cruella Deville with white on one side and brown on the other. Once it has finished growing out I will have fun chunky grey with dark brown.
Details, pictures and backstage stories from the Nicole Bridger fashion show to come soon. And lots of info on the great new plus size boutique Toni Plus in The Bay Downtown too. Now that Canadian Thanksgiving is over I am catching up.
