The Fall Shopping List
I have to admit my fall shopping list is pretty slim. I have a few things that need replacing and as my strategy is now quality over quantity I am not rushing out to buy lots of new trends this fall.
Here are the goodies on my list:
Wedge desert boots. I've been in love with these Doc Martens for months now. Whether I come home with the purple (below) or grey version is yet to be seen. I like this style because they will work great to replace my long time wedge loafers with pants for work (which makes me lean to the grey). They will also look fun on weekends with skinny pants or my boyfriend jeans.

I also have like these other Docs, in an oxford wedge style.

Lady Like Blouse - I still need more blouses in my closet. Too many years wearing t-shirts and cardigans and it is time to grow up. I was thinking a peplum might be a fun, lady like blouse, to add to my closet. But as I reviewed my pinterest board from the fall shows, almost everything I pinned was a dress, a suit or a dramatic coat. So I'll share the latest item on its way to me from Kiyonna.

Fall colours - This year the hot fall colours are literally fall colours with lots of lovely deep reds, burnt oranges and mustard yellows. I have no particular piece in mind, but would love to add a dress, blazer or blouse in one of these colours. I have always been attracted to these colours and know I can mix them easily into my wardrobe for years. Love this mustard dress from Haider Ackermann.
For more from my Fall 2012 Pinterest Board click here. I will be trying to work within my existing wardrobe to try to create some strong black/white looks, 20s silhouette and bold colour fall outfits.
Still on the hunt for... a white button down shirt. This item has been on my list for 2 years and I still haven't found a fantastic white button down shirt that fits my shoulders, chest and waist. While I haven't been looking that hard over the summer for this closet essential, I would like one for fall. Although I am tempted to give up and try a chambray/denim shirt instead.

The Essentials...
I also need quite a few boring, but essential pieces. They include: new Zumba sneakers, sports bra, new spanx, new bras, a new convertible or strapless bra (a challenge to find with my ummm curves).
What do you plan on picking up for fall? Do you have any favourite trends?

Love your list! I've actually already done most of my fall shopping - crazy I know. I needed some basics. So far I've picked up a black silk blouse, black jeans, a black leather motorcycle jacket (that's been on the list for two years!) some new gold bracelets, and a chambray shirt.
For your white shirt craving I would suggest looking at thrift stores. After pining after one for months and being able to find nothing that fit correctly I finally gave up and bought a bunch for $5 at the goodwill. Each one is oddly perfect for different situations.

Have you found those super cute docs in Vancouver? I havent done the wardrobe flip from summer to winter yet so haven't done the list. But a leopard skin pair of flats and some rain boots are a must.

So the black currant wedges are now mine. They looked very cute with skinny jeans and my new black and white polka dot shirt from kiyonna...above.

I got some wedge desert boots last winter (Ecco Shiver) and I swear I wore them just about every other day. They are simultaneously cute and practical.
