Not So Fabulous at the Golden Globes

My friend Alexis has a great phrase that she uses when she shops "that dress does not make you fabulous". It is never about how fabulous the woman may or may not be. But whether the dress is as fabulous as the woman. And we can all make mistakes and be mislead by the dress who promises the idea of fabulous but never delivers. Or the dress that lets us travel the safe route with a similar not fabulous result. Or the big fabulous hair, which is just big. Here are ladies, 40 and over, who I felt did not wear a dress that made them as fabulous as they can be.
