This spring in Vancouver has been very grey, with lots of rain.  I woke up this morning to another grey morning. So I decided to say screw it and go pink.  Plus I needed an excuse to wear my new Jacqueline Conoir skirt. This is one of three new skirts that I bought at their blow out/moving sale last week.  The skirts were $65 each and the 3rd skirt was free. This was my "free" skirt.  It is a great A-line style and the bright colour is very on trend this year.

Skirt: Jacqueline Conoir - Sweater: Tobias from Plum - Tank: Joe Fresh - Necklace: Vintage - Shoes: Fluevog - Sunglasses: Target

I'm also wearing my new Target Sunglasses.  It was my big splurge on my US shopping trip over the weekend.  $18.  I love them because they are big 70s bug eyed style.  I also have to say that I found Target a bit of a disappointment.  Some cute, and cheap clothes.  But the fit was really unflattering. And I couldn't bring myself to pay the same amount in alterations as the purchase price of the item.   So I bought the sunglasses. And since I'm apt to lose them sometime this summer I'm okay with them being trendy, cheap & cheerful.

This was also an opportunity to wear my pink Fluevogs.  They are great shoes that don't get out of enough.   And yup my legs are really THAT pale.

Now for the loooong weekend where I get to celebrate Canada Day.  I'll be heading down to Canada Place to celebrate.  I'll be the one wearing red. :)

What are you wearing on this Canada Day/Independence Day long weekend?
