Recently Vancouver designer Jacqueline Conoir unveiled her Spring/Summer 2012 collection at, what I assume was, a fantastic runway show in her new 9,000 square foot showroom (I wasn't able to attend).  But today I'm not interested in thinking ahead to spring. I want to think about fall/winter, and some great dresses.  Rozemerie Cuevas has been designing her Jacqueline Conoir line for 25 years.  She is an example to designers and brands that say that their customer is getting older and not interested in spending money on fashion anymore.  Rozemerie has customers that have been wearing her designs for all of those 25 years  and they continue to come back for more. She designs relevant and modern clothes that make women feel glamorous - no matter their age.

The Jacqueline Conoir line has always made stunning suits.  But it is their dresses that seem to draw me everytime (I own two).  The lines are modern with unique twists in silhouette or cuts that make it a stand out piece.  They are great for day, but are easily dressed up for night.    Not all of these dresses will work for my body type, but they all reflect my personal style.

And my favourite - with the coat.
