For my birthday last spring one of the gifts from my husband was an ethical deal from Spark Jewelry. I had seen the deal and had sent him a "hint" that it would be a good gift. I have now finally gotten around to using it.

I ordered this lovely necklace called Tree of Life.  I've been looking a necklace with some black which wouldn't overwhelm, but would stand out against my pale skin. This lovely piece fit the bill.  It is made from onyx and recycled Argentium silver.   How is this silver reycled you ask? It is from refineries that extract the silver from our garbage, like old computers.  That should make my computer fixing recycling loving husband very happy too. Spark Jewelry is also local, with their studio in North Vancouver. They can often by found at the Portobello Market.
